Children With Hope Inc. Conferences and Training Courses for 2008

1. Australia, Uganda or Thailand: Certificate 1V of Ministries (one year)

Theology studies are held in Melbourne, Australia and the children at risk training in Thailand or Uganda (4 weeks international course) with internship available in several countries. These courses are in partnership with the Bible College of Victoria (www.bcv.vic.edu.au).

2. Uganda: ‘Impact Africa 2008: Understanding Our Children’ Conference

This week conference is expected to be held from July 28th –August 1st 2008, in Kampala, Uganda. It is in partnership with Viva Africa and other national organizations and is for Africans and others working with children at risk in Africa.

3. Uganda: C.A.R.E. 2008: (Children at Risk Education)

This is a 4 weeks intensive full time training course that is expected to be held from 28th July to 22nd August 2008, and which includes the Impact Africa Conference. It is for international students, those working with children at risk, or wishing to explore the realities of what working in this field entails. Applications are now being taken.

4. Thailand: ‘Impact Asia 2008: Understanding Our Children

This week conference is expected to be held from 3rd November – 7th November 2008, in Bangkok, Thailand. It is in partnership with Christian care Foundation for Children with Disabilities (www.ccdthailand.org) and the Department of Social Development and Welfare (Thailand Government). This is a national conference, for Thais and others working with children at risk in Asia. Teaching is in English, with direct Thai translation.
